1. How to Edit a Session
At the top of the Note Editor, next to the session title, click the pencil icon ✏️. This opens the Edit Session Summary modal.
2. Fields You Can Edit
Inside the modal, you can update:
Title
Date
Duration (minutes)
Start Time
End Time
Location (Telehealth or In Person)
Modalities Used (e.g., CBT, DBT)
All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
Any updates you make will immediately apply to:
The session header
The final documentation
The client’s timeline (if linked)
3. Save Your Changes
Once you’ve made your edits, click: Save Changes
The modal will close and your updated session information will appear at the top of the Note Editor.
4. Deleting a Session
At the bottom of the modal, you’ll see:
Delete Session
This permanently removes:
The session
All documents generated for it
Any related autosaves
The session entry on the client’s timeline (if linked)
⚠️ This action cannot be undone.
Users should only delete a session when it was created in error.
