Archiving or Deleting a Client

You can manage a client’s status or permanently delete their profile from the Face Sheet tab inside the client profile.

You can manage a client’s status or permanently delete their profile from the Face Sheet tab inside the client profile.

Changing Client Status

In the Face Sheet, you can set a client’s status to:

  • Active

  • Inactive

  • Prospective

  • Archived

Status changes help you keep your client list organized without removing any records. Archived and inactive clients no longer appear in your active list but still retain all documents.

Deleting a Client

If you no longer need a client record, you can permanently delete it from the Face Sheet.

Deleting a client removes:

  • The client profile

  • All related documents

  • Screenings, comments, consents, and treatment plans

This action cannot be undone.

When to Archive vs Delete

Choose Archive when you want to hide a client from active workflows but keep their history.

Choose Delete only when the record was created in error and should be removed entirely.
