Upload a Recording

If you recorded a session outside AutoNotes (Zoom, phone, voice memo, etc.), you can upload the audio and AutoNotes will generate a clinical note from it.

How to Upload a Recording

1. Start a Session

Go to Sessions, pick your service type, and choose: Upload Recording

Select your audio file from your device.

2. Review the Recording

You’ll see the recording at the top of the page with:

  • Play / Pause

  • Scrubber

  • Timestamp

  • Speed controls

You can:

  • Link a client

  • Add a short session summary

  • Fill in required fields (MSE, Risk, etc.)

3. Generate Documents

Click Generate Documents.

AutoNotes uses your:

  • Audio

  • Summary

  • Session details

  • Client context

…to create your note.

4. Review Your Note

You’ll enter the Note Editor, where you can:

  • Read the transcript

  • Edit the generated note

  • Use Magic Edit

  • Add additional documents

  • Finalize or download

Supported File Types

  • .mp3

  • .m4a

  • .wav

  • .aac
