When working inside a client profile, creating and managing documentation is easy and streamlined. Here's how you can generate a new note directly from the client’s facesheet and complete a treatment plan in one smooth flow.
To get started, navigate to the client’s profile and click on the Documents tab. From there, select New Note to begin the process. You’ll be prompted to choose a note template that fits your documentation needs—whether that’s an intake, progress note, or another format available in your library.
Once you’ve selected a template, fill out the note accordingly. After reviewing the content, you can choose to modify or export the note if needed.
When you're ready to finalize it, click Sign Document. This action will lock the note, mark it as complete, and attach it to the client’s official history. Please note that once a document is signed, it can no longer be edited, but you will still be able to export it as a PDF. Click Yes, sign to confirm.
After the first note is signed and completed, AutoNotes will automatically generate a sample Treatment Plan for the client. You can review this treatment plan, make any necessary updates or customizations, and then follow the same process to finalize it.
Once the treatment plan is complete, click Sign Document again and confirm with Yes, sign. The treatment plan will now be saved as part of the client’s documentation and visible in their profile under completed documents.
